Diatom assemblage from farmer turf


Short length of red algal filament with multilayers diatom assemblage including long straight chains of Stictocyclus stictodiscus, long straight needles of Climacosophenia elongata, and bushy colonies of Licmophora flabellata. The stalks of the Licmophora are in turn epiphytized by a tiny Amphora. Image 4890.
